Our story.
Madison Monroe & Associates was founded on September 30th, 2009 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We began by offering our clients the opportunity to settle their outstanding unsecured debts, including but not limited to; all credit cards, gas cards, retail store cards, repossessions, judgments, medical bills, and unsecured personal loans. In the summer of 2010, we introduced our Credit Repair Division. Our mentality began to shift to prioritize holistic financial wellness for our clients and it became important to offer more options when it came to their credit card debt as well as credit score. It's essential to us that each and every program graduate is equipped with everything they need to take full advantage of their financial freedom – whether that's establishing new credit, purchasing a new vehicle, or even buying that dream home.
By August of 2011, we had outgrown the offices that we were occupying in downtown Fort Lauderdale and established new offices in Miami. Situated just minutes from South Florida's three major highways – the I95, Florida's Turnpike, and the Palmetto Expressway – this new location ensures our clients are being represented by the best and most diverse employees in the industry.
In January of 2014, we added Student Loan Consolidation to our portfolio of services offered. In 2015 Student Loan debt surpassed Credit Card debt and became the second-largest source of personal indebtedness in this country. This addition allows us to address an even wider scope of financial wellness for a broader audience.

Our Process.
Debt Settlement.
We specialize in Consumer Protection Laws that are overseen by the Federal Trade Commission. Our vast knowledge on the laws that protect consumers from unethical and careless actions taken by debt collectors set us apart. Using the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Dodd Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protections Act and the Federal Trade Commission Act known simply as “Section 5” to our advantage we are able to successfully negotiate the debt balances of our clients to historically low percentages.
Credit Repair.
We challenge your questionable negative items with all three credit bureaus Transunion, Experian, and Equifax. We demand your creditors verify the negative items they are reporting via disputes, appeals, and validation requests. If they can’t verify the items they are listing negatively they are required by law to stop reporting them resulting in the removal of the negative item from your credit profile. We can assure you that we'll help you boost credit and make lasting changes to your score in a realistic time frame. Credit ranges can go anywhere from 485-620 within 6-12 months and 500-700 in a year to a year in half depending on what you have on your report. No empty promises, guaranteed.
Student Loans.
We pride ourselves on being well versed in the ever-changing Federal Student Loan repayment programs the U.S. Department of Education has to offer. Our team’s goal is to provide our valued clients with the utmost loan forgiveness and payment assistance offered through income driven repayment options. Our experts will consolidate all your student loan debts by using the Direct Loan Consolidation program and derive a strategy to deliver a low monthly payment that fits comfortably within your budget. CEO
Rafael is an experienced Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the consumer services industry, skilled in Debt Management, Debt Elimination, Debt Restructuring, and Credit Restoration. He is a strong business development professional with an Associate's Degree focused in Business Administration and Management from Miami Dade College. Rafael has used his platform as CEO to help those less fortunate from providing basic living essentials to even help with home, auto and bike repairs.
Joe Zinerco
Vice President
Joe Zinerco has been with the company since its conception and continues to be heavily involved in day to day operations. Prior to joining Madison, Monroe & Associates, Mr. Zinerco studied Business Management at Flagler University and then continued his education at Nova Southeastern University while playing collegiate baseball. After joining Madison, Monroe & Associates, Mr. Zinerco believes in putting people in better situations and follows the motto of treating every client like they are his family.
Pauline Marinho
Senior Operations Manager
Pauline Marinho is a native of Florida and a graduate of Florida State University where she received her Bachelor's Degree. She joined our team in 2009 as an assistant to the Director of Sales. Within a year she was promoted to Client Services Manager due to her exceptional work ethic, smarts and dedication. She has continued to grow with our company and is currently the Director of Operations. In her free time she enjoys traveling, staying active and cheering on the Seminoles.
